As this holiday season approaches, I would like to express my gratitude for what you make possible every day at Holy Angels. Your loving gifts provide hope, love and peace to the families we are blessed to serve. In a world that is often weary, the Christmas star shines brightly, just as it did for the Wise Men, guiding them with hope and peace. That same light continues to shine today, reminding us of the peace we all long for in this world.

Nora, affectionately known as “Sunshine,” is one of our bright lights at Holy Angels. Her family came to us eight years ago feeling weary and uncertain. At Holy Angels, they found a place where Nora’s bright spirit could flourish, and where her family could finally experience peace, knowing she was in a place full of love and compassionate care. For Nora and her family, Holy Angels became that place where her light shines brightly.

Nora created this Christmas card which beautifully captures the essence of Christmas —the birth of a baby that brought peace and hope to the world. Just as the star shines on Baby Jesus, we see that same light shining on Nora, our very own "Sunshine." Her creativity, joy and radiating smile reminds us of all the gifts that each of our angels brings to our Holy Angels family.

At Holy Angels, we strive to provide a place where every individual can thrive, where their unique talents are nurtured, and where love and care are always present. Nora is just one of many examples of the joy and peace that radiates from our residents, and it’s only made possible through the generosity of supporters like you.
