Why Horticulture Therapy?

The therapeutic benefits of garden environments have been documented back to ancient times. This type of therapy can improve memory, cognitive abilities, task initiation, language skills, socialization and much more.

Did you know that hundreds of pounds of delicious produce is grown by Holy Angels for use in our restaurants and is also made available to our staff.

We planted the seeds of joy and hope with our horticulture therapy program more than two decades ago at Holy Angels, and we continue to reap its harvest in food, flowers and smiles!
