With Grateful Hearts: Thank You
When a fire impacted the Morrow Center on April 17, what could have been a devastating loss became a powerful reminder of God's grace and the strength of our community.
In the days that followed, Mercy Moments were everywhere. Friends, neighbors, churches, businesses and even people who had never heard of Holy Angels called asking to "adopt an angel," providing clothes, shoes, blankets, books, educational toys and comfort items for the 20 residents affected by the fire. Others donated snacks and comfort food for staff during long days of uncertainty, while generous supporters supplied craft materials for summer camp and countless other essentials.
What we witnessed was more than generosity—it was love in action. We have been humbled and honored.
Despite the fire, our residents continue to enjoy joyful days filled with summer camp, activities with visiting groups, music therapy, and birthday parties, all accompanied by compassionate care. We are deeply grateful for every gift and act of kindness we have received.
